Officials of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and the Malankara St Thomas Church in Liverpool, United Kingdom, held a bilateral discussion focusing on Oriental Orthodox Church relations on Sunday 11th February 2024.
In the discussion, the two churches discussed the work they do together and the work that should be done in expanding their services.
Reverend Fr Kesis Berhanu, the Administrator of Liverpool Mekane Kidusan Abune Teklehaymanot Church, said that the strengthening of Oriental churches will contribute to the success of spiritual services. Rev Father Happy Jacob, vicar of St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church of India in Liverpool, expressed his happiness that the delegation of Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church attended and discussed in his church and urged them to work together.
