Following the Holy Qurbana celebrated on Sunday 11th August, the congregation had the opportunity to learn more about DKMS, an organisation dedicated to combating blood disorders through life-saving stem cell donations. DKMS works tirelessly to give more patients a second chance at life, and their mission was highlighted during a special presentation.
Representing the youth, Elwin, Shawn, Johanna, Livia, Jonathan, and Kennet organised a presentation to raise awareness about the urgent need for more donors and emphasised the simplicity of becoming one. Their effort helped shed light on the life-changing impact that each potential donor can have.
The church was also blessed with the presence of H.G Abraham Mar Stephanos, who expressed his enthusiasm for the cause after hearing the presentation, further inspiring the community to take action.
